The Hudson Fire Department is currently accepting applications for part time EMT's to fill
additional as needed slots. Part time EMT's typically work weekend shifts or fill full time
vacancies due to illness, vacations, etc.
Additionally, we anticipate having one or more full time positions open in the near future. Full
time positions are normally filled from our part time roster.
The Hudson Fire Department maintains a BLS ambulance staffed 24/7. EMT's typically work 24
hours shifts and stay at the fire station. Our service area is primarily rural and includes 2 lakes,
several parks and recreation areas, summer camps, and approximately 7 miles of interstate 39.
The Hudson Fire Department also houses the MABAS Division 41 Dive team. Call types are
varied and challenging and we average about 200 runs a year.
