Welcome to the Hudson Community Fire Protection District website!

The Hudson Community Fire Protection District shall be made up of three (3) trustees:

President
Secretary
Treasurer

And shall have up to:
1   - Fire Chief
2   - Assistant Fire Chiefs
3   - Captains
4   - Lieutenants
25 - Firefighters

All firefighters are considered "professional".

They are divided between "volunteer" or "career" categories. Both are required to be trained and have the same legal responsibilities and follow the standards related to equipment and training requirements.

Hudson Fire joined “Nixle”

The Hudson Fire Department along with Hudson ESDA has launched a new account with nixle.com to alert community members of important information and weather alerts.
 
What does this mean?
 
By registering at nixle.com, you can receive emails and text message alerts from HFD in the event we feel that the community needs to be aware of information or weather related threats. 

Local Holiday Lighting Contest Benefits the Hudson Fire Department

The 2nd place winner of the Hudson Holiday Lighting Contest has chosen the Hudson Fire Department to receive the $100.00 prize. 
Bobby Dicken of 706 Trimmer Dr. was informed January 5th that he was the 2nd place winner.  Bobby was to choose a non-for-profit organization to receive the $100 in honor of his lighting display.

Family displaced after fire damages home in Anchor

ANCHOR -- Noel Yount smelled smoke when she went to bed late Monday night, never thinking she'd be forced to evacuate her family from their burning home the next morning.

"If I had just kept sleeping, we'd all be dead," Yount said after the blaze was brought under control.

Stay cheerful—but careful—around the stove and decorations during the upcoming holiday season!
